How I Work

My approach is rooted in several modalities. I have focused my training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT),  and also incorporate AEDP and IFS - informed practices. I also enjoy working with those who identify as being highly sensitive people (HSP). Much of my work involves helping people better understand and regulate strong emotions. Within this work, we look at short and long term goals and how these align with a client’s values. Together, we work on identifying effective strategies for coping with and enhancing one’s life.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends (and my dreamy dog). A great night for me is having the whole family home, and would also involve pizza, chocolate, and a movie. If I’m really lucky, the movie would be a romantic comedy that the rest of the family is willing to tolerate.
